Bug with Blurred Frenzy?
It means it will grant reflection when you use Distortion(Shatter f4), not when you’re granted distortion.
Also, what is Frenetic Fog? o_0

I believe he meant the skill “Blurred Frenzy”. They could have used another term in a different language.

I don’t know the exact name in english, its the 2 sword skill.
well me in french that said, distorsion, grant reflection.
Not use or something else, so f4 and the 2 of the sword give it, i was thinking i should get reflect too with the sword.

F4 skill is called Distortion, which happen to be the same name as the buff that grants immunity. Considering that this trait is in “Illusions” and that this tree is focused on shatters, I’m pretty sure it is meant to only give reflection when you use F4.

Well a dev can confirm it ? I don’t think that work has intended, that realy say, this buff " distorsion " give " also " reflect.
I don’t care about the name of f4, but seriously if we take the word correctly, now with the trait in illusion, i must get " granted " by reflect everytime i get the distorsion buff.
So without a dev confirm it, we can’t say.
But would be nice to reflect all missile with the sword.

i have translate each word french to english, so its maybe bad translate, kitten i was feeling happy i was thinking when the sword 2 was debug i will reflect !

Yea, that should be an easy-to-fix issue for the developers for the French version of the game.
On the bright side, traits can be switched at any time, and there are plenty of useful traits in the Illusions tree, such as:
- Precise Wrack
- Master of Misdirection
- Compounding Power
Pick and choose what you like!
Yep, but i was realy happy to make a full reflect build, because the cooldown of the sword was realy low ( 18 seconds ) and with the 4 of the focus who reflect too, and the 5 + the reflect bubble.
Lol i was waiting a patch all day guys, to see a lign about this skill because i was 100% sure it was bugued, and all people in french forum thinking the same ( not our fault, but that was writing so we trust ).

Aye, i highly doubt the trait effect #2 on the sword… it would be WAYY to overpowered, to have 2 seconds of invuln AND reflect, every 8 seconds…
if im wrong, and sword #2 does in fact give reflection from the trait, (which im quite certain it Doesnt, but i havent exactly proven this) its gunna get hit with the nerf bat….
i sometimes use sword 2 just as an burst absorb from ranged because the cooldown is so short… if they made #2 reflect aswell, theyll increase the cooldown by at least twofold, which i dont want to see happen…

Yep would be awesome, if a rogue will shoot me all arrow he can at the melee, when i will burst him, and reflect all on him.
Btw we are the class with a lot of reflect, the bubble, the wall, the illusion. Its already awesome to see people suicide themself.
Now the only thing i ask, its maybe a help for the 3 of the sword, sometime the illusion don’t attack, or don’t go, depend of the geographie field.
Its complicate to make this skill work well sometime.
yea, its very hit or miss… i had gotten in the habit of watching the clone, and trying to swap as soon as hes close to the enemy, but thats too tricky to watch…
now-a-days i just pop it whenever, and always do the leap about 2 seconds later… id say only about 50% of the time i actually pop right by my target, and begin doing sword#2…
this may ‘seem’ ineffective, but i mostly sPvP, so even if it relocates me somewhere else, it still makesi t hard for my enemies to pick me out of my clones…. so basically when #3 fails, i just switch to staff and stand still… youd be surprised how many people run right by you…
Now, for a good WvW 1v1 fight, i wount teleport unless i KNOW ill land right on my target….. but then again, its generally MUCH easier to watch for this in a good 1v1…
Yes same to me, sometime work, sometime he don’t work well.
Btw i explode all my ilusion to make big damage, work very well !
And sometime when i pop some ilusion, i don’t move, the guys look and see one don’t move, hm ! a ilusion for sure !

Heh, i get the ‘no move’ bug alot with Staff #2, it always generates a clone, but sometimes ill just POOF right where i was already standing, in a haze of purple butterflies….. but, for sPvP this is genrally beneficial too, because at first glance people assume i am the generated clone (especially if you stand still for the moment) … of course once in awhile you get that smart guy who understand how to tel lthe difference, but thats what Decoy is for =p
but yea, i really wish sword #3 worked different… maybe reverse?? pop us backwards (much like #2 staff) and leave a clone in place…. i wouldnt mind having to physically run to close the gap, yet havem or options for adding a gap… plus, i love using Focus#4 to pull people to my feet, on their Face…. never gets old… =P
as much as id like to see sword#3 change, i doubt it wil lanytime soon… we may be ‘too’ strong if we had yet another leap away… would be nice tho=p But, they do need to fix the cripple/imobalize…. im perfect fine with the fact that i only teleport to my target 50% of the time, but i still think the immobalize and/or cripple should hit, regardless of my or my clones position….
Blurred Frenzy give Blur(2s) instead of Distortion(2s) on use, I don’t know if it is intended or not, but in current system that gives Blur(2s), the trait is working as intended.
I don’t think its intended, because same icon, same buff, that say you distord the space, same as f4.

It is same icon, try to cast Blurred Frenzy and hover your mouse to the icon buff, although it is same icon and same description, but it has different name, it gives buff name “Blur” instead of “Distortion”, the trait only gives reflection on buff “Distortion”, not mentioning anything about “Blur”, hence current system should be working as intended, BUT there is ambiguity whether Blurred Frenzy grants Distortion(2s) as the tooltip mention, or there is typo on the tooltip (hence it should be Blur(2s))

Yes in english, but not in all other language, so without a realy confirmation by someone you understand its hard to trust.
