Hello and to whom it may concern,

I have recently fought the marionette world boss and for some reason am not getting any of the “dodge marionette’s attacks” achievements. I am positive I am dodging at the correct time (orange circle signal) and i get the “evade” prompt on my screen but I do not get the achievement for them. Also, my friend and typed “/cheer” after skipping the cutscene after you defeat the marionette and he go the “Marionette Dismisser” Achievement but I did not. I have fought the marionette 4 times already.

Apparently you must not get hit by the attacks in question AND succeed at severing the chain in the same attempt. If you do not successfully sever the chain without being hit, you won’t get the achievements.

No idea why you didn’t get the Dismisser achievement though.

EDIT: Clarified that it’s the chain that needs to be destroyed, not beating the Marionette.

I had the same bug. Killed marionette, skipped cut scene cheered like 5 times when everyone else was doing it and got nothing.

It appears that there is only a very short window in which you can get that achievement. You need to /cheer right when you get the notification that the 5th chain has been severed. By the time you enter the cutscene, it’s too late.

So to be on the safe side, have /cheer typed into your chat window beforehand and say it as soon as you see the last chain being destroyed.

I didn’t have this issue I cheered while at the chest.

It has happened several times that I’ve gone and found at the High Kick section of the Marionette and had the event successfully complete, and yet I have not been awarded the achievement for having dodged it.

I’ve tried dodge rolling out of the attack zone prompting thee Evade text, and simply avoiding it altogether. In both cases the event has succeeded, the chain is broken, and I still have no achievement.
