From Nov 15th notes:

“The drop rarity of Rare and Exotic weapons from certain places in the world (champions, veterans, and players in WvW) has been increased. Rares and Exotics should be much more likely to drop and every champion should be guaranteed to drop loot. This was to ensure that world loot drops were not a significantly worse way of acquiring rare and exotic items than crafting and running dungeons.”

However, I have not witnessed this change being included in the game. Champions barely drop loot and the drop rate for rates and exotics seems to have been lowered, not increased?

Any idea about this? a known bug?

I have also seen champions not drop loot still. As far as the increased drop rates on rare and exotics I haven’t noticed a difference either but then again it was probably such a minimal increase that nobody will notice it.

I can also confirm champions not dropping loot. I can’t recall a single instance of getting a rare or exotic from a champion since the November update, although I consistently get more masterwork items from champions.

I’ve also noticed this too with a few champions not dropping any loot or just dropping junk loot.

Yeah, this does seem to be a problem… hope they fix it soon. =(

Yes, i can confirm this. Since this update i never got any exotic item except by completing a map.
