For the past 2 days I have been completing the daily completionist, but I noticed that im not getting the 10 Achievement points my ap got stuck at 26,002 and wont add any ap. Has anyone experienced the same bug?

Yesterday I only received 4 of the 10 points for finishing the daily achievements. Today I received 0 points for finishing the daily achievements. For both days the 10 point notification came up but it just is not adding to my overall point accumulation. Anyone else experiencing this?

You may have reached your Daily Achievement Point cap. If your Daily Achievement Points + Monthly Achievement Points add up to 15,000, you have reached the cap.

You’re not alone. Heck, even folks that know there’s a cap forget about it the day they hit it.

I’d really like it if ANet did the following:

• Clearly show the cap in the mouse-over that shows how many total points you’ve gotten from dailies.
• Add an achievement for hitting the cap, less for the AP and more because it will trigger an in-game message when you reach it. (And for those that look at their summary, it will start warning us when we get close.)

You’ve probably hit the cap – 15,000 AP for dailies and monthlies combined.

No, I mean 15k accrued over the entire life of your account from completing dailies and monthlies. If you mouse over your AP total, it’ll break it down into daily, monthly and permenant – I bet you have 11,002 permenant, and the other two sum to 15,000.

FYI : you can already mouseover to see your daily / old monthly cap in the achievement panel. It’s in the panel where you can select your title .. put your mouse somewhere on ‘’ Total point ’’ in white letter ( top left corner ) .. well i don’t know what you mean by ‘’ clearly show ’’ … it’s clear to me … i see XX ap from daily XX app from monthly and XX ap from achivements.

Crap i didn’t know there was a cap in daily/monthly combine, i did hit 15k ap that sucks it means doing daily now is pointless

It doesn’t show the cap, though, or give any indication that a cap even exists.
