Anchorage Waypoint in Cursed Shore appears to be bugged, it has been contested for hours without there being an actual event there, I’ve heard others complain about said Waypoint having been in such a state for a long time. I wish access and buy a piece from the Karma Vendor in this place, so if you could fix the issue it would’ve been grand.

The event to take Anchorage (which is just one of the many steps leading to Arah) starts in Meddler’s. It might be helpful to know which server you’re on and what stage the Arah meta event is on. Is Jofast’s contested?

Ah, I was unaware of this. Jofast is indeed contested. The server is Piken Square.

In the chain of events, Jofast gets taken by the Pact, and then an NPC will show up ‘waiting for reinforcements’. When you talk to him, he’ll start an escort quest to Meddler’s. Shortly after reaching there, the event should go to something like "The Pact is strategizing at Caer <can’t think of the name>‘. Then, Warmaster Chan will spawn in Meddler’s to be escorted with some men to Anchorage.

Jofast being contested might just be the usual every 15 minute or so event where it goes under attack and needs to be defended, or it may have fallen and need to be retaken. The other day, Warmaster Jofast got stuck just outside of Shelter’s Gate, and that blocked the whole chain.

yeah ive been waiting around for the the escort event at jofast and its not appeared, im also on pikensquare. i think that part of the chain may be bugged.

This was apparently fixed in previous dev notes but seems to still be bugged. I’m on Stormbluff Isle.

“Typical” workaround of luring veteran risen giant not so successful since he gets tired and breaks off aggro no matter what I do. (Funny that there is a “standard” workaround, even documented in the wiki…)

This really needs to be fixed. Gates of Arah is totally blocked now (not that the farmers are bothered), for hours now.

EDIT: the part of the chain that is blocked specifically is the event, “Get Warmaster Chan to Shank Anchorage before the troops’ morale breaks.” They are just standing south of Meddler’s.

EDIT#2: just south of them is another group of Vigil that are part of another event, blocked as well, “See the Pact crash survivors safely to Meddler’s Summit.” Since they are trying to go in opposite directions, perhaps this is why this is blocked?
