Bugged Quest - Blocking my progress

I am stuck on the human quest “Temple of the forgotten God (72)” I am asked to explore the Catherdral of the Hidden depths and I am stuck on the part which is called “Investigate the Cathedral of the Hidden depths” – Anyone else experiencing problems ?

All I can see in the room is an ORB and a SHRINE and I cannot do anything with these items.

Need help please as I am well and trulty STUCK.

Did you investigate the Shrine and kill the mob that spawns? The mob drops the essence that you need for the Orb.

Also, some players have had to restart this quest and it works fine or eventually works fine after 2 or 3 restart tries.
