its not a bug there is a hidden entrance under the water near the stairs

We found the hidden entrance or we wouldn’t see the shark.
But how do you start the skill challenge? Like they said: they are just swimming around, being green and not responding to anything. Am I missing something?
According to the game, the “event” is also up and running, active, but there is nothing to defeat.

Same story on the Far Shiverpeaks server, any advice on when it will reset from itself or something?

I’m also having this problem. All the sharks are green and it’s stuck at 2/3.

Yep, same thing as Xanen over here. Yak’s Bend server.

Same with Eredon Terrace. It seems the whole area is bugged, the dynamic event next to the skill point (Clear Risen from the Stone of Hazaan) is also stuck. The wyld hunt is just running in circles and there’s no undead spawning.

Did this earlier today with no problems on Jade Quarry.

Bug is up on Isle of Janthir again. I spent several hours checking back and it stayed the same. Green mobs you can’t attack or talk to. I was told by others that it comes up after reset, so it’s apparently glitching some time after that.

It’s the last thing I need to complete that map.

Same bug at Gate of Madness server. Quest active with 2/3 etc.

Same here at Sea of Sorrow. The shark is green, it’s not a hostile npc.

The Ancient shark skill challenge in Sparkfly Fen is bugged. the shark’s names are green. you can’t talk to them to initiate the challenge or anything. they just keep swimming around.

the skill point where you have to kill the sharks is bugged and was yesterday too, the sharks are un-attackable but it says 2/3 are dead and no one can progress

Darkhaven is bugged too, the npc sharks are “allies” and one more kill is required (2/3 Sparkly Fen).

So i found out a workaround for this issue if it’s stuck on your server. may fix it for the server but i can confirm that it fixes it for you.

If the quest is stuck at 2/3 for you and everything is green. do the following.

1. Go back outside of the cave and follow that path on the rocks. Now pay attention to the shore VERY close to the water, there will be one shark can that be targeted through the rock (don’t know why it’s there but it is). It should be red and you should be able to kill it.

Voila and your quest is complete until they find a fix for it.

Now if you do this and you still don’t get it then I dunno what to say =(

after the server rollback, the shark wasn’t in the rock anymore so it may be fixed. not 100% sure. (as in it may break again)

Was broken in Underworld too but they just fixed it – I completed Sparkfly. Good job guyz!
EDIT: MISINFORMATION… I’m not so sure it’s fixed… someone else had already triggered it somehow when I got there so I completed it with him… I can’t trigger it myself… and the dynamic event (Clear Risen from Hazaan) still looks broken too…

The skill challenge “Ancient Shark Pistrix” in Sparkfly Fen isn’t working. The sharks are just swimming around, marked as friendly (green).
We can’t attack or do anything with the sharks we need to interact with.
Like if someone has completed it and it has not been reset (shraks should be red and agressive).

He is bugged someone got him on to the land and he is just sitting there and not agroed.

Now there is 4 ancient sharks all swimming around on the rocks.

This skill challenge has been bugged for some time on Aurora Glade [EU]. You can swim down the hole to the sharks, but they stay “green”. You can’t interact with them, or agro them … the event stays stuck on “Brood Killed 1/3”.

On the Aurora Glade [EU] server the skill point near Stone of Hazzan is bugged. There is a secret cave under the water where you must defeat Ancient Sharks. However they are green (friendly) and it is impossible to attack them.

Anybody else on other servers having this issue?

This bug needs to be fixed ASAP! I believe it has been bugged for some time. It is unacceptable that things required for zone completion are still bugged weeks after the first instance of the bug has been raised on these forums! There have been updates to the game since this point, yet no fix for certain skill challenges.

Bugged at Sea of Sorrows since a week ago.

Broken @ Fort Aspenwood. Stuck at “Brood Killed 2/3” and the shark pistrix are green cons and non-interactible.

STILL bugged in the Maguuma server, and looks like other servers. At least they are swimming, and not on land anymore. Sending bug reports just doesn’t look like it’s getting any attention. There are other skill point bugs not getting fixed either. These things are taking away from the enjoyment of the game.

I realize how frustating that sounds, but I was able to complete this skill challenge. I don’t know how I did it. Actually I came upon the event as it was in process so therefore, I have no idea how it started, so maybe it glitched, but in a good way lol.
Also, these stupid glitches are all over the place….it seems that half of Blazeridge Steppes is glitched. It really needs to be fixed.

I am also experiencing this issue. The event text says, “2/3 Brood killed”. And yet they swim in a happy/un-attackable circle within the hidden water cave.

Please fix ASAP, area completion blocked for me.

The Ancient Shark skill point in Sparkfly Fen is still bugged, the event appears on the map but the sharks are green to the player and you cannot interact with them.

After the update this skill poin it still bugged.

Skill challenge: defeat the ancient sharks in sparkfly swamp is bugged. Sharks cannot be attacked and therefore skill challenge cannot be completed.

Encountered this as well on the Ring of Fire EU server.

Same problem, found it bugged on 9/23 still bugged when I checked it on the 24th.

Was bugged for me when I needed it long time ago. After server reset it was fixed. But there sure is a couple of skillpoints that keeps popping up as bugged.

I don’t know if this bug has been reported already, but…

In my server, Sorrow’s Furnace, in Sparkfly Fen, the Skill Challenge: Defeat the Ancient Sharks is currently bugged. It shows the progress of the mission being 2/3 complete, but in the game, all four sharks are just swimming around in circle.

If someone could fix this for the next update, we would all really appreciate it, thank you.

Came here to say the same Skill chalenge is bugged and the only one left for me in Sparkfly fen
