[Bugged] tricks & tune
Same here, no reward -.-
it’s possible to do it, a party member did it 30 mins ago. instead, there are some invisible beams that hits and void the chance to get the achievement.
still, it’s bugged
I did it 10 times today, twice I even did nothing at all to make sure I don’t hit something wrong.
My Battlelog showed that nothing has even hit me, nor did I hit anything.
Still, no Achievment
invisible beams that will randomly disqualify you from a ach = bug

It would be really nice if someone from anet would confirm whether or not this is bugged, so I don’t waste hours trying.
Not sure how many times I’ve tried getting In Tune.. I’m positively supersure I’ve not hit anything without the right attunement. Turned off autoattack to control what I’m attacking at all times.
Constantly checked my attunement buff for time and stopped attacking fairly long time before it ended, checked the enemies for damage counters after it disappeared and there were none.
Gathered new buffs and rinsed and repeated.
Some runs I did notice I got the debuff and those times I did hit enemies without the buffs. But most of the runs I did not get any debuff at all.
This has to be bugged in some way or another.
People are claiming they get the achievement from attacking for 10 seconds with the white attunement and then afk-ing the rest of the time in all phases. This leads me to think that something’s wrong with either the colored holograms and/or the ultraviolet holograms.
But hey, it could be that I’m just very very bad, although I’d like to think that that’s not the case.
Edit: Another thing is that when you’re downed, it -may- count as if you’re un-attuned when you attack. But not sure. Just an idea.

I did both of these achievements yesterday.
For In Tune I had to take care not to apply conditions that tick longer than the duration of the attunement buff, because condi ticks seem to also count as “hitting”. Being an Ele I needed to take care in which attunement to dodge and also not to switch to earth attunement near a mob (AoE cripple on switch), etc. I’m not sure if there are any bugs, I didn’t notice any.
The No More Tricks, Scarlet can indeed be called bugged. Since the last few patches/fixes the holo boss instance starts early, therefore you are very likely to spawn in an AoE laser field – even if you enter the instance seconds after the last knight has been killed (I used Focus for Invulnerability while entering the instance so I didn’t get hit). Another problem is, that the laser AoE lasts a bit longer than its animation. So if you run through a recently despawned laser field you will still get hit for a few seconds.

I hate to say it, but I read a suggestion of getting two or three hits in with no conditions on the right attunement and then running around avoiding damage and ressing people for the rest of the fight.
Did it tonight. Got both on first try.
I’ve done them and they’re not bugged. You lose credit for both if you get downed of die.

@Ayrilana, that definitively is bugged. Nowhere in the description it says that you’re not allowed to die. As long as I don’t get hit by the laser or attack with the wrong attunement, I should get them…
@Ayrilana how do you not get downed? The ultra violet blast thingy downs me every time. Is there a way to avoid it?
I was getting downed constantly as an Ele, I had to switch to my warrior and use tanky gear in order to avoid getting downed by random stuff. I managed to get In Tune, but havent been able to succesfully avoid all the lasers yet.
Things I made sure to do:
1. Not be downed or killed
2. Not use conditions lasting longer than buff
3. On the final phase I made sure I maintained the white buff while attacking the ultra violet holograms

Pretty much this ^
I just finished my latest run and I got both tricks and tune achievements at the same time. You will want to play very careful if you want either of these.
Make sure to turn auto attacks off and stop attacking when you have about 10 seconds left of the buff to account for conditions and projectiles. Better safe then sorry. When the hologram splits its best to dps the blue one (stand between it and the door aka away from the grouped up people) this is the easiest one to dodge the attacks and you are less likely to be downed. ALWAYS watch your buff. If your group does it right you shouldn’t have the 6 adds from each hologram to fight. If you do be very careful one aoe or one of the other mobs might intercept your attack — if this happens you lose.
On the last phase make sure to be no where near the three sets of buffs. You will get the white buff on phase switch and grabbing any of the three will reset it back to just that colour. If that happens DO NOT attack the minis. If you do all of this you will get the achievement
As for no more tricks, its pretty easy if you can actually get into the door without being blasted. The attack has a super long tell and you have plenty of time to get out of it. I have heard that the damage sits around a bit longer than the graphic, so just to play it safe I would count to 3 before I would walk over a path that had the aoe over it. Take your time and focus more on dodging then doing damage.
If you get downed on the final phase consistently when the laser hits you, make sure to bring something to mitigate that damage. As a warrior I would have endure pain if needed.
Hope this helps!
