I posted a bug to the forum, but no one acknowledged it. It is a very important bug. I am concerned because it is impeding my progress in the game. I am sad
Is anyone else not getting any recognition of the bugs they post about?
Usually devs or support hardly answer to each and all stuff posted on forums, but they do read them and acknowledge them (although the lack of answer may look as they don’t).
If the issue you are having is very specific and not many people also experience it, maybe you better trying to contact Support for a more individualized response. If it’s a common issue with others threads about the same thing, be sure they read it and possibly are aware about it.
But if a bug has been around for years… how am I supposed to believe that something is being done about it? Especially if there is no response from those responsible for dealing with the bug?
What purpose does this forum serve? Is it just a place to praise and sing to the almighty, a place of worship? Are we not all complicit in perpetuating the façade that something is actually being fixed with our blind faith in this type of controlling power?
Even though there are several issues that went without a fix for ages, the forum has a purpose and several issues reported here were fixed. It’s just a matter of how complex the issue is, some can be easy to fix others can’t. Also, devs or mods won’t come and reply to each and all threads created, but it doesn’t mean they aren’t reading them. It’s better for them to spend their time fixing or developing things than replying to every threads on the forums.
