Title says it all really, the “Buy Gems” button just under your gem counter in the gem store is not working. I click it and there is no response at all. Nothing happens.

Not really sure what else to say other than it bothers me since I might not be able to get an item that’s only available for a certain period of time.

couldn’t agree more. Mac beta client users, such as myself, have had this problem for many months now. Its a loss for us on temporary items and a loss for Anet on missed revenue. Really, it should be at the top end of the priority list

I use a mac, too, and for the last week or so, EVERY attempt to access the Black Lion Trading company has blanked out, completely, or not fully loaded, with the exception of the coin collection option.
Gem store, Currency exchange, Trading company, placing item onto trading company, listed items, none of the tabs (except for the “Pick up” tab) have loaded for me.
I’d thought perhaps after this update it would be fixed, as it seemed to coincide with the preparation for this latest patch, but apparently not.

I have the same problem, I can’t click on “Redeem Code” button.

Same here, those two buttons don’t seem to work anymore.

I’d like to add that these still aren’t working for me – I’ve also asked a few players in-game and it isn’t working for them either. When I click on the Buy Gems or Redeem Code buttons, nothing comes up. I’ve tried deleting the gw2cache folder and I’m not on a Mac.

A fix would be greatly appreciated, I’d love to get some extra character slots while the sale is still on!

I just want to add that this is not working for me either. No money from me, I guess.

Same here, I’m on Mac but have the Windows version running through Crossover as well which solved my old TP loading issue, but I can’t click on ‘Buy Gems’ in either version.

This isn’t working for me either. Will we get an extension on sale items?

I have 2 2k codes to redeem, and wanna get a character slot while still on offer.
I submitted a ticket last night

Same here, not working. Not working for other people in guild too, but working also for a few people.

And now the countdown timer has started on Character Slot. 22 hours left :/

Buy Gems and Redeem Code not working for me either… was hoping to get an extra character slot before the sale ends but it looks like I’ll miss out at this rate. I’m a good ol’ Windows user, so it looks like it’s not just the Mac client!

I hope that the sale times will be extended, because as it is now I still can’t purchase the gems and I might miss out these sales.

kitten i wanted to buy two charackter slots and the new leather armor but i cant with only 48g and the buy gems button broken

Same here on Windows 7 or OS X, and no answer from Anet about this issue.
Trading post is slow and unresponsive, buy gems/redeem code buttons do not work. Really annoying.

This is also an isseu on Windows 8.1 (pro). I’m not able to redeem code’s or buy gems. I’ve bought some in the past but now its not working anymore.

Same here, can’t buy gems and want to buy another character slot before the discount ends. If it can’t be fixed for most users by the end of the discount can we at least get an extension on the discount for 24 hours after the problem is fixed?

Confirmed, working for me now, shame the sale on the character slot ended though
