I’ve encountered the following over the last few days.

Sometimes, I try to buy a certain item so that the price rises a bit. However, more and more, I run into a stack that simply doesn’t go away.

Let’s take the case of ghost peppers. What I’ve done is put up 1 ghost pepper as the lowest sell order. It’s 55 copper. At least, that’s what the TP tells me, that I’m the only one. It says “1 ghost pepper” at 55 copper. No matter how many times I buy ghost peppers at the lowest sell listing (me), my sole ghost pepper remains in my “items I’m selling” listing, I cannot buy my own pepper. And the price remains as it is. But I can keep buying ghost peppers for 55 copper, which aren’t listed on the TP. Yet I can keep buying them, and I can pick them up from the trade post.

Ok, now it’s 4 ghost peppers at 55 copper. If you’re at your computer, try and buy them, see what happens.

Edit: Aaaand now it’s sold and back to “normal”. Did anyone encounter this behaviour before?
Edit number 2: Not entirely normal. If I dump something in the lowest buy order, which is 34 copper, my “items I’ve sold” tells me I sold it for 38 copper.

Can you actually buy your own offers?

Yes. Just tested and tried this to double-check.
