The problem here is whenever I choose P2 in the Ascalonian Catacombs, moving to specific areas to trigger the next objectives don’t work. This constantly occurs in the Hall of Champions where Detha is supposed to trigger the Ghost Eater objective where the traps need to be charged.

In all of my recent attempts, when the entire party reaches this area, nothing happens and we have to abandon the dungeon.

This is a very long standing bug.

Their last attempt at a “fix” just made Detha build the traps differently, and seemed to make the chance of it bugging slightly worse, along with seemingly removing the ability to ‘reset’ her by getting her killed and then reviving. Good fix. Very good fix. Can’t wait for the next attempt!

ANET doesn’t actually fix these kinds of bugs. Mostly, they ignore the kitten out of them like they do with nearly all bugs. Sometimes they try and fix them, but it seems apparent they don’t even bother to test to see if their fix actually works, so it’s obviously not a priority.

My advice on path 2? Just don’t run it, like you wouldn’t run path 2 of SE because of the same kind of issue.

Well, I finally got around to recording this one. Hopefully ANet takes a look at this thread and watches the video. I think I know how it’s bugging out before the end boss. Done this dungeon path so many times now and I believe I have found a pattern to this madness.

Watch the video and you’ll see she bugs out yet again at the end boss after we completed the previous encounter. But the only thing I have noticed is that every time she bugs out it only happens when someone dies during the breeder event. So long as everyone lives during that event it will work every time perfectly.

Can confirm a bug in AC P2, but at the last boss. The boss decided to change its reset position on a whim and we couldn’t get him to any of the traps to start hitting him. The ectoplasm that spawned on hit would sometimes bug out as well and go crazy when we got them into the trap.
