Hey guys.

Need help on this one. I bought 6 dolyak runes 3 days ago. I started applying the 3 first one on the 3 defensives armor pieces I had, worked fine.

Later that day I bought a karma piece, and wanted to use my dolyak rune on it…. couldn’t anymore.

It showed 9/6 and wondered why, but then I searched a little bit and found out if was a bug due to my PvP gear.

Anyway, not knowing that yet I removed the 3 runed pieces, didn’t work either. Dropped them in the bank. Still the same.

Tried applying a different rune, the problem remained, the armor piece was just “red” when I hovered it with the rune.

I can’t even put ANY rune on ANY piece of armor now, even the already well runed.

I removed my toughness/vita jewels, thinking it could be some king of “capping”. Still the same.

Changed char, logged out… That’s now 3 days, and I still can’t apply any rune.

Help !

Very annoying

I’m having a similar issue. Except, randomly after buying 6 major runes, none of them would apply to any armor. Then I bought a random piece of armor and another rune for the same result. Anyone have a solution?

what grade of rune (minor/major/superior) and waht lvl of armor are you tring to apply it to?

For me, they are major runes. However, I read on some other posts that there are some bugs with transmuted gear; and yes, mine is a level 35 transmuted armor set. Moreover, when I had thought that to be the only issue, I realized that no major rune worked or any armor (including low level armor I bought). When I tried to make sure that none of my runes would work, I realized that the runes for my Trinkets worked fine. Haven’t tried weapons yet however.

Edit: I just not retried the runes and found out that it is most likely because of the transmutation. I got another piece of armor, yet this time it worked. It’s just not working on my transmuted armor.

you cant apply major runes on any armor below lvl 29 (and for superior runes the armor need to be lvl 60), so if it is lvl 25 armor only minor runes will work

After a bit more looking into it, I’ve found out that both Major weapon AND armor runes of any kind do not work no matter what armor piece I buy. I had bought a completely new set of armor, not transmuted, and the runes won’t work on it.

Edit: At the moment, the only makeshift solution I can think of is to just deal with not being able to use major runes. Though Superior and Minor runes work just fine.
