I have been trying to buy gems from the store all day and keep getting an error code that says, “Unexpected error has occurred. Please try again later.” I have tried using both my PayPal account and my credit card, but I get the error either way. Help!

That was happening to me when trying to buy 8000 gems but I was able to buy 4000 gems without any problems.

You can read through other threads and try some of the suggestions, or you can contact the Billing CS Team for assistance. Not much forum-users can do, unfortunately.

Thank you Uncle Piggy…that was what I was trying to do, purchase 8000 gems at once and it wouldn’t work. I went in today and tried the 4000 twice like you suggested and it worked fine. =)

Tried 4 hours ago and tried again now, Anet doesn’t want my money. It still won’t let me buy gems. It’s like there server is super slow, i fill everything out and hit the ‘next’ button and it won’t progress to the next page.
