Can't buy gems from gemstore
Yes. I’m guessing this is a sev 1 bug, and someone is sweating bullets (Dear Diary, Today I broke the code that’s responsible for my company’s revenue…)
Edit: 1 day later, still can’t buy gems. I guess it isn’t considered a severe problem, although I wish anet would SHADDUP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!! :-)
Maybe Mauveinmystic and I are the only ppl who can’t buy gems?

I haven’t been able to purchase gems via the store in 3 days. Hope it gets fixed before the shadow dyes disappear.
Well, I was able to buy gems once … ONCE. And I was able to buy 5 shadow dyes. But of the 5, none were actually shadow dyes. So perhaps I shouldn’t complain that I can’t buy more gems, as they’re kind of a shadow RL money hole.

I can trade my gold for gems but I cannot BUY gems. This is kinda funny. It’s a shame though, I really wanted the shadow dyes.

Got it to work for me.
Steps I did:
Selected a lesser amount ($50 USD)
Logged into Paypal prior to starting the transaction.
It completed.
Maybe it’s the $100 value that’s throwing things off with the strong USD hitting a currency ceiling?

This worked for me after 3 days of trying to buy gems. I sent a ticket into support yesterday but have not heard back from them after they said they would look into my purchase attempts.
