Guild Wars 2

I am an officer but I can’t change other members’ ranks or kick them! All I can do is to invite other players to the guild. But there are such possibilities for my rank to change ranks and kick other players. I found a lot of people with such problem. I request you to fix this bug because it is very unpleasant not to have such possibilities, though you must have them.

Are you sure it’s a bug, or did your guild leader remove the “Admin lower ranks” and “edit ranks” options from the officer rank of your guild?

Click on the “Ranks” icon on the lower left of the guild screen and pick your rank. If the top checkbox on each column isn’t checked, then you don’t have the access.

It’s certainly a bug. A have this option but I can;t change ranks.

Bump. I am the Leader in my guild and have been given a created rank of Deputy Leader in another. In both I have everything ticked in the ranks page (except members start here of course) and yet I can’t edit ranks, demote or promote. I can invite and queue upgrades but that’s it.
I have looked long and hard through the net and this site for help or answers and found nothing. Even this post has no answer and it’s from 2 months ago.

This is more annoying than ruining my game play but seeing as I’m the only one in the 2nd guild who is increasing our guild influence (so we can start the new guild challenges/puzzles/etc) I wanted to remove the ability to queue items from Officers for the time being.

All the check boxes are greyed out for every rank in both guilds.

Any assistance will be both expected and appreciated.

Update: Found a solution after posting this. Got the Leader of the other guild to move me up the roster (the new position was at the bottom when listing by rank) and re-save the position and all is working fine now.
