i have 500 weaponsmithing, 400 jeweler.

It won’t let me create gift of metal using mystic forge. The 250 orichalcum ignots appear to be incompatable with darksteel and platinum when trying to put them in the forge.

-edit- I tried restarting the game, still didn’t work.

-edit- I tried reactivating weaponsmith to see if that would do anything but no change. This is highly annoying…

buy the gift of metal recipe from miyani and craft it at a weaponsmithing station.

You need a lv400 weaponsmith and you need to buy the recipe sheet from Miyani and you need to learn the recipe on the weaponsmith. That is the only thing to try.
