Guild Wars 2

As title says, can’t download the latest patch, maybe someone has similar issue, my internet is running fine, can’t explain why is my download so low and then it reaches zero and stops all together.

I’m having the same issue.

For the future: for some reason, some small number of people have trouble with the CDN server that GW2 uses by default. If you check the wiki, or other forum posts, you can find advice on being able to override that to a different CDN server which resolves the problem.

edit to add: well, “works around” the problem, which still exists. it’s not clear to me, outside anet, what the CDN related issue is, but it happens to few enough people that it seems likely to be something horrible about some random CDN server being broken or something. (which also explains why it eventually starts working for them.)

Bumping this cause I just got around to updating my client 24hours after OP and I’m experiencing the same problem – stuck at the last file, which I assume is 34mb only since my download speed drops to 0.

I’d appreciate if someone can post what you guys did to solve the issue.

if you’re using 32-bit client, switch to 64-bit…. i was experiencing the same problem when using 32-bit client, stuck at the last file…. i switched to 64-bit client, no problem…
