Guild Wars 2

Ever since this morning (10 AM EST), I have been unable to load into the game world. The patch client starts fine, I can log in fine, I can get to the character select screen fine, I can even adjust my options and check my online friends. But when I try to select a character, the game attempts to give me a network error and then kicks me back to the patch client immediately as if a new build was launched, for another round of not being able to load. I was playing absolutely fine last night so I have no idea what might have caused this. The game’s not even crashing so I can’t seem to send a crash report.

Claiming that I have network error when selecting character to go in game.

This just happened to me too. I was in Lions arch clearing my characters inventories, logged out to the character select screen to select a different one, and now it keeps telling me network error and crashing back to the log on screen whenever I try to select one.

Yeah, I’m getting this issue too. What’s going on?

ok i faced this problem just now in JQ as the server was full .. so the only way to enter was to guest in another server.

so it work for me to guest in another server..

I want to WvW, not guesting.

So it has finally come to that?… Not being able to log into my home server because of all the guesting? :’(

Also having the same problem, also have JQ as home server. Could only play by guesting to another world.

i bought a super skin from TP and suddenly get kicked out. trying to log back in but keep getting same network error. i though my account got hacked lol.

This just happened to me as well. I’ve also been getting kicked randomly from the game since a day or two ago with no loss of internet via my modem. Extremely frustrating.

Also on JQ, also having this problem. Most of my characters are parked in Lion’s Arch, but I tried to enter the game with one in the Grove and got the same error, so I don’t think it’s related to trying to enter a specific zone.

I am also facing this on JQ. I want to WvW, so guesting to another server is not really going to help me out much. Get a Network Error 1074 and then get booted back to the login screen.

The error window doesn’t even last long enough to click ‘ok’ before getting booted to the login screen.

Closing down the client completely then restarting it does not resolve the problem. Which isn’t surprising, really, when JQ is listed as ‘Full’ on the world selection screen.

Sadness. If this keeps up, I have to wonder what will happen to our WvW performance.

Okay, so I just guested to another server to get into the game, opened up the WvW screen, and was able to enter EB successfully. It appears to be the JQ/BG/SoR EB, at least based on the names of things on the map, but when I go to my guild screen, I still look like I’m guesting (a lot of other people’s locations are listed as Jade Quarry). This is really weird…

Apparently we are too epic to join our own server, guesting solved the issue though.

Having same issue, JQ server. By the way, the world selection screen lists Jade Quarry as “Full”. It is time to end guesting permanently, if this is the result.

I have never seen a ‘full’ server stop me from entering it. It’s weird that it’s just JQ. (it’s always JQ)

I mean, JQ used to say FULL all the time before they raised the cap and I still logged in fine every day. BTW they say they are aware of it and working on it via twitter.

Anyone trying to get into wubwub: Guest somewhere, enter the portals in LA, you get into our match just fine.

I’m a JQ native too and have been experiencing the same problem.

This is the new way to beat JQ in WvW, have all your PVE players guest onto it to lock the WvW players out from being able to log into the game and thus compete against them. Forget siege capping us and wasting all our supply, lock our players out! lol.

It’s one of the only ways…
