I’ve tried multiple times, I’ve made sure to kill mobs, I’ve ensured that he gets through, but it seems like nothing I do will earn me credit for this event.

And I’m not the only one. It seems every time Commander Lawson comes up a bunch of people aren’t getting credit for it.

It’s annoying to have this one try every hour and not have it work.

There are various bugs cropping up on the achievements, especially on main servers. They are confirmed to be working on a bunch of fixes so hopefully this will sort itself out

I’ve escorted that kitten about half a dozen times now and haven’t gotten credit once while other people who show up half way through his escort path or were there just as long as I was got credit, its such bull.
I’ve done it on multiple characters both running with him like other escorts or killing everything (the few times I’ve done that he’s died). I’ve shown up early and waited for him to spawn, waited outside of the event circle range until he spawns and then ran in, and waited on the other side of the bridge but nothing works so I’m at a total loss. I hope A-net fixes this crap soon because this whole “hope to get lucky with this achievement” vibe is total crap.

Tried this after the patch. Still didn’t get credit. What exactly do we need to do get credit for the event?

Same here, still getting no credit for this escort event.

I’ve been there when it starts and still there when it finishes, killed mobs and stayed with him but still nothing. This was in a JQ overflow twice in the past 2 hours.

The event simply disappears once he gets to the stairs in Fort Marriner and he bows.

Finally managed to get this one. Got silver for the event. So it seems simply killing some things is not enough. Some other players suggested that there is some minimum damage threshold in order to get credit. Maybe try being in a party if you haven’t tried that yet.

Got silver for the event, still didn’t get achievement. Also I still have no received credit for the Elite Aetherblades even though I’m getting xp from each kill

I have done this event 2-3 times since patch and still have not gotten credit let alone gotten participation credit. I have tried killing enemies, healing him, and giving him boosts still nothing.

Tried two times since patching today and still getting no credit.
Only event I need to fulfill to get meta achievement. T’is aggravating. :o

Before the latest patch I tried this again with a party (me +2 others) and finally received credit! I can definitely suggest making a party for the event.

Based on more reports, we are investigating further into this issue with the escort events and how they award participation.

That’s good to hear, I also am having trouble getting credit.

It’s the Defend Traders Forum achievement that’s glitching out on me as of today. After finishing the event, I got the little “Hey, you got the achievement!” icon on the side of my screen. Then I checked my achievement list. The “Extraction Complete” achievement has my count at 14/15 (Traders Forum was suppose to be my 14th), but the actual achievement for TF is at 0%.

I tried doing the achievement again, to see if it would fix the issue, but still nothing.

I cannot get lawson either. Escorted him, killed afew in the circle and got gold participation but no credit for the achievement. This escort thing is just too buggy.
