Guild Wars 2

Hi there,

Up until this evening I had no trouble inviting or being invited to a party. Now, whenever I try to invite someone or someone tries to invite me, nothing happens. For a brief time, I received an error message stating “The person is already in another party or guild” with an error code that went something like (Code=3028:1008:3 etc etc) but I have forgotten the full message. Now I receive no message at all, and have no idea what the problem is. Happens across all my characters, and restarting the game has no effect.

Any ideas?

Yea, was the player in your party before you logged out prior to the patch? If so, the person is actually in your party, you just can’t see them. And they can’t see you in the party list.

I have the same problem- but without the error code. Instead, my contacts list shows everyone offline until I try to whisper, and then it shows them online if they actually were. I am on the right server- I can see my friend standing right next to me but their map marker is missing and the left side bar shows I’m not in any parties. Only indication I’m in a party is that party chat works.
