Guild Wars 2

So this evening I was running around on my main character to different maps, buying different ingredients I needed for cooking like I -usually- do. No problems, no lag, no internet connection issues. Nothing like that.

When I entered Timberline Falls, I started running around and noticed mobs, even hostile, weren’t really aggroing me. I thought nothing of it due to the fact I wasn’t really that close to them, figured I was out of aggro range.

When I got to the location I was aiming for, which is usually heavily populated with NPC’s, there wasn’t an NPC in sight. I figured I was lagging, and relogged. When I logged out, my character selection screen said my character had 0% map completion, which I know isn’t true, he’s the one i’ve got 58% completed on. When I try to log back in to him, It just sits on the loading screen of Timberline falls.

I can’t seem to log back in on him, but I can log in on my other characters just fine, who are all in Caledon and The Grove, Currently.

Does anyone have any advice on what to do?

Can anyone help???

You’re the second person i’ve seen with the same problem as me. I’ll post here if I find out how to fix it.

Try logging in on a different character quick, if your in a party leave in on the character you hopped. Than return to your main. I had a bug with joining dungeons (guesting) from different servers and this fixed. It would also get stuck in loading screen. Maybe this might help who knows its a simple trial.

I’ve logged onto other characters already, not in a party, not guesting, and not trying to enter a dungeon.

Simply logged out in the middle of Timberline falls, tried to log back in and can’t.

same here. i tried but im not in a party or anything.

OH OH OH OH I JUST TRIED SOMETHING!

On my -other- character, I had a friend invite me to party. When I accepted, I switched over to the character stuck, and I popped up in the map!!

I Wp’d the hell out of there afterward too.

Yeah.

On another character I could log in, I had a friend invite me to party. I logged out to the character select screen, switched to the stuck character, and everything worked just fine, managed to finally pop up in Timberline Falls. Waypointed out of there as soon as possible, now i’m just fine.

Give that a try, have a friend invite you to party on a different character (outside of Timberline) then switch to your stuck character.

As a matter of fact, if you’re online right now I can invite you to a party if you need help. ^^

teehee! I just was like “I wonder if it actually shows my blue dot there.,…‘hey so and so, invite me to party and see if I pop up on the map there.’ -logs in- OMG I’M NOT STUCK OMG!”
