Despite getting grabs and denies in Crab Toss the Crabgrabber achievement doesn’t increase. Here are two screenshots to demonstrate it.

The first screenshot was taken at 11:37 PM server time. The achievement tracker shows my progress in Crabgrabber as 53%.

The second screenshot was taken at 11:44 PM. As the score says, I got 4 grabs and 4 denies, so my Crabgrabber should’ve increased by 8. However it remains at 53%.

Same for me, all crab toss’s achievements get stuck

Same problem here. The progress for Crab-Carrying Competitor and Crabgrabber are stuck and not progressing at all.

I’ve had the same issue since around noon today.

They must of broke is recently in one of the patches. I finished Crab Carrying some weeks prior. Today I was working on Crab Grabber, being the only available achievement for Southsun I have yet to finished only to realize it’s been stuck at 88/100 for sometime.

was just talking to players in-game, people complaining that they weren’t getting credit for the daily crab toss win as well

Same I got 11 crab grabs between a couple matches today and have been stuck at 18/100

I didn’t even get the participation one, first time playing today.

Mine is doing this as well. First time playing today but I didn’t get any updates even though I grabbed a few crabs in the games I played.

I would like to report having this bug as well. Also as a side note the bug report categories in game do not seem adequate, I spent a couple minutes looking for the right place to put this under but there was nothing obvious.

I wish they’d compensate the hours I played crabtoss without realising progress was broken. I know it seems silly but I’d appreciate not having to spend any more time then I have to doing it.

Under these circumstances, will the deadline for the Crab Toss achievements be extended?

I’ve been stuck on Crabgrabber 93/100 and Crab-Carrying Competitor 270/300 for the past few days. If this activity is temporary, it would be nice to see ANet announce they’re actively fixing it. Or, promise to extend its availability.

Mine are both stuck at 157 and 70….

Same here, though it started sometime in the last day. I was able to do it a couple of days ago. I fear, of course, that this will be yet another achievement the game will rob from me. It’s frustrating having a leader board for achievements and then not having achievements work.

Gonna add my name into the hat here too, had a really CRABtacular round, but didn’t get credit for anything, not for crab grab, carry or for winning champion for daily.

The only things I have left for Southsun Cove event too.

Same problem here. Have been playing Crab Toss for the last couple of days, trying to get the chieves before the end of the event. It was only today after I finally had some luck and won three matches in a row that I realised my Crabgrabber achievement hadn’t gone past 13, my Crab-Carrying Competitor hasn’t gone past 87 and I didn’t get the daily for winning a round.
I really hope they can either sort this out before the end of the event and/or update our progress accordingly….

Same problem here, 3 matches and no credit. I was hoping to complete it today since I had the time. Please fix before its too late!

It is also broken for me. I won and no title and it took forever for me to win in the first place, so it is pretty frustrating. I hope they either fix it or give us more time as it has been broken on and off for awhile.

The fact that they refuse to even acknowledge and respond with a “we know about it and we’re working on it” says to me that they don’t care.

I hate to say that, I’ve enjoyed this game so far, but it appears that they are just going to let it run as is until it expires on the 10th.

I really wish we could get some formal response. Even if it were just to say “We can’t fix it, sorry guys.”

I got response to my ticket. Pretty much asking me to submit a in-game bug ticket not a customer support ticket……. I took my time, wrote the ticket, and sumbit to you because this is kitten frustrating enough for me(cause I hate crab toss with a passion). Please don’t just say “oh you should do a in-game bug report that no one will ever respond to you”. I am angry enough.

The only day I got the mood to do it and found out it’s bugged. I have endure way too many things like this for this game.

Do you feel Pang’s anger? Mine is like double. I hate this Crab Toss so much, and putting it in the daily is inhuman.

Going to reinstall the game and see if it works. I doubt it, as it’s most likely server side that is bugged, but you never know!

No achievement progress here either. This is ridiculous.

48/100 crabs grabbed and no progress after multiple games of not only grabbing, but getting TOP grabs

and stuck at 146/300 grabs carried as well.

Crab toss dailies aren’t working either.
This is stupid. Can’t believe we haven’t gotten a response so as far as I can tell they’re just going to remove it while people are physically unable to finish these due to the fact that they somehow managed to break achievements that were working just fine earlier.

New day. Crab Toss daily still isn’t working.

Having the same issue. Went in to progress my Crabgrabber title (trying really hard to pick up all the living world titles as they come up), couldn’t. I got every achievement but Crabgrabber and Crab-Carrying Competitor early on in the existence of Crab Toss, so I’ve got those, but I can’t seem to make progress on the last two.

I’m having the same problem. I played for about an hour on Friday night until I realized I wasn’t getting any credit. I reported the bug in game and went on to something else.

I gave it a try again today. Got in on a partial game and then played one full round, where I had a great game (winner, most grabs, most carries, most eliminations, 213 points) and still didn’t get any of the living story crab-toss achievements to update and I didn’t get the daily achievement point for winning the game.

If I knew for certain that the totals were being recorded but just not being reflected in the achievements tab (yet), I would continue playing, but without knowing that I can’t really justify continued play in the mini-game. I’m only doing it for the achievement points, and if I’m not getting them, I should be doing something else.

Crab Toss Champion Daily Achievement and Crabgrabber are still confirmed stuck. Doesn’t this event end in a couple days? What’s going to happen?

Been stuck on this as well, but only realized it last night, and confirmed it today. Extremely frustrating that the steady work I’ve put into trying to complete this I now realize may be all for naught. Hopefully they figure something out and either extend the period or, worst case scenario, just award the title to everyone who had partial progress.

I’ve submitted an in-game bug report, though I’m not sure how much good that will do.

My Crabgrabber and Crab-Carrying Competitor achievements are both broken right now. Just had a game with 6 grabs and I’m still at 74 counted like it has been for a few days; latter is stuck at 41% complete with no progress counted. Hoping it’ll be working again tomorrow since it’s due to be gone by Tuesday. :/

Just posting to say, that I can’t even get the participation achievement, I really hope this gets fixed, as I don’t want to miss these achievements because of a bug.

Still not working (what’s new?) as of this post. Would be nice if ANet gave us an update, or have someone telling us they are looking into this bug. Hopefully ANet fixes this bug and give players extra time to work on those achievement, or just the give the achievements to people who were grinding Crab Toss during the time this bug was going on…..

Most of us have completed every single event achievement thus far, and I would be extremely frustrated if a stupid bug stopped that from happening…

This is happening to me as well, I’ve managed to actually win one of these cluster clashes and been the last one holding the crab ankitten ot even awarded those. Makes it real pointless to “play” this terrible mini game when not getting the progress I should be.

Yeah, I too have the same problem. Stuck at 45 out of 100.
