Guild Wars 2

I cannot get past ‘Enter Rata Novus’ to start the chapter.

On characters that both have and have not finished chapter 4:

1) Start chapter 5.
2) Listen to Taimi’s speech about her dragon killing machine, which ends in the word flabbergasted.
3) Portal Scroll to Ember Bay.
4) Enter Portal to Rata Novus

Result: Now standing in Rata Novus on top of a green star.
Unable to interact with green star.
Unable to interact with Portal Tuner.
Unable to interact with any NPCs.
Going near the portal/green star brings up ‘Exit to Ember Bay’ dialogue.

Relogging does not help.
Restarting the mission does not help.

The chapter begins in Rata Sum, I believe. Check your World Map for a green star there.

It’s a little frustrating that it matters how you enter Rata Novus, but as you say there is a green star telling me exactly where to go. That did it. Thanks.

Well, there’s usually only one way to enter a Story instance; I tried to short-cut it, as well, with similar results. =P
