I am not receiving mail from story quests or other players please help!

I too have been having this problem since 1 day after prelaunch… I can get in game mail from heart quests and the such but any mail sent directly to me from a friend or guild mate goes into the abyss.

I’ve submitted multiple tickets to address this issue to no avail. It is seriously blocking progress as I have a very generous guild that like to share ups like bags, items etc and I can not get them.

I had hoped the multiple down times to the mail system would have fixed it, but I guess they like to leave some of us out in the cold. It is now becoming a joke when I log into mumble and the first thing I say is “Who wants to send me a test mail?!” and I never receive it and me and my guildmates have lost several items to the postal service.

Please fix this, it is REALLY frustrating.

I got the answer! Apparently if you dont delete your heart quest mail after you take your coins, your new mail doesnt show up if you have more than 10 saved mails. I deleted my old mail, and all the mail that was ‘lost’ was there! Yay!!!

Also, even if it’s not full delete your old messages. I was having this problem as well even though my mailbox said it wasn’t full, deleting messages helped and the backlog flooded in.

For me the problem was resolved after clearing my mailbox…had it let it become full on purpose because I’m somewhat of a completionist and the hint for ‘mailbox is full’ didn’t fire right away for me. It fired after I had things sent after it filled up, but since I didn’t originally fully clear it there wasn’t enough space for everything that was sent.

Perhaps messaging/checks need to be clearer on this?

My wife sent me mail a couple hours ago (including a couple bags and some cooking mats), and I have not received it yet. Is there an issue with the mail system currently or has player to player mail been put on a delay because of an increase in demand?

Note: My mailbox is completely empty, so space is not issue. :-)

did your wive type the correct name? sometimes if shes right klik send mail item to . a random clicked name will show up. i think the dev must give some features about sent mail or history or stuff.

A friend of mine has the same problem. We have checked on four different characters re-checked the name spelling error i have sent it via right click, spelling out the name, and letting the mail auto complete he cannot receive any mail from me or anyone else. but he can still send it out.

So my friend and I are trying to help me level up my crafting. Just before we got started, I had deleted two Heart Mails from my inbox. This made my inbox EMPTY. Before accessing the crafting station, I used a potion to turn myself into a Stag. ((I was having fun.)) I also used one of those fancy crafting boosters that I had found in the Lion Chest. I didn’t have many of my own materials for crafting, so my friend sent me two mails that should be full of materials for me. It has been over ten minutes and I do not see the mail.
I tried troubleshooting. I tried logging out and back in. Nothing. I sent him a message, it went through right away. Then I sent him a message carrying gems. THAT went through right away. He sent me a message without any materials, that went through right away. Yet I still haven’t received the original messages carrying the materials he wanted to give me. My inbox is empty. What can I do now?

one way to resolve this bug would be to put a timer on mails so they delte themselves after say 7 days or so?

My friend has had this same issue for about a week we both submitted bug reports its kinda sad since while we were leveling i sent him several items that he could have used but now are just lost in mail limbo somewhere.

Have the same problem on my character. I can’t receive any mails for like 2 days now… although I can send out mails. Help?

Make sure you empty more than 9/10. Apparently it should say 9/9…..

i have a problem with my friend, too, can’t send her mail, always says “unable to find recipient” her mail is empty and i checked and double checked the name and everything seems fine

Hello I made a ticket about this problem and nothing is been almost 8 days now I can send mail to other players but I can’t receive any from players or in game I am also missing Gems and things that I buy before like busters can some one fix this please !!! and yes my bags are all emty ..lol

This is stupid that you have a mailbox limit.
It should be a limit for mail with items, not just normal messages as I may want to keep some messages from people just for the text of it. I don’t understand why I should need to delete mail if I don’t want to.

I had a similar problem until reading this thread. For over 3 months I’d not received any mail and my mailbox was at 9/10. After deleting the oldest message in my box, which was a 3 month old green star message, the flood of old mails started coming in. Everything from gold seller spam to people offering thanks for helping them out. It took a good 15 minutes to receive and delete everything.
