So I noticed that salvaging infused ascended rings gives 2 “portions” of Stabilizing Matrices, potentially giving a lot of them.

Never satisfied, I decided to “attune” the next unwanted infused ring dropping from a daily fractal chest. I got a perfectly useless “Druid’s Circle (infused)” today, and I turned it into an “Attuned Druid’s Circle (infused)”.

Imagine my surprise when it couldn’t be salvaged at all anymore. Now, I’m not sure if that’s intended or a bug, but there’s nothing about it that hints it should become unsalvageable, so I’m posting it here anyway.

Just so you know, I would still like to be able to salvage my Attuned Druid’s Circle (infused).

I have a Attuned Solaria
(couldn’t attune the old infused one I had, so I attuned a new one that I was working on infusing, but then the update made it so I could attune the old one, now I have this attuned new one)
when I use a ascended salvage kit, it goes dark and won’t let me salvage it

I have the same problem. Is this a bug or should I just delete the infused rings?

Don’t delete. Instead, contact support and find out if they can help.

I can’t think of any reason why the developers wouldn’t let us salvage attuned or attunedA+infused. I mean, sure, it’s not the best idea to spend to attune and just delete.

PS I can salvage infused rings fine, just not attuned+infused.

I’m still holding on to this as of yet unsalvageable ring.

If it’s not a bug, there should be a warning or notification.

Yay! I just salvaged this ring. It gave me 3 portions of matrices. Small portions, but this could possibly yield a lot of matrices. I’ll be attuning the next few infused rings I get, because even 1 extra matrix makes it worth the cost.
