Hello !

I’ve been having a bug with the chat system since the update. I haven’t been able to see team chat since tuesday, which is a problem because I spend quite a lot of time in wvw (& pvp). And since tonight, I can’t see the guild chat either, which is even more bothersome.

I have tried logging on and off, and setting my ingame status as offline and back to online again. I’ve checked my chat options as well.
I don’t really know what else to do :/ (except re-downloading the game, which I’d rather not do)
Does anyone else have this bug or is it just me ?

You could try a -repair of the client.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion, I hadn’t tried that.

I just tried it, and sadly it didn’t work. I’m going to try submitting a ticket like you suggested.

I want to bump this because I have the same issue. I got it about 3 days before the August 9th patch. I’ve tried deleting and remaking all my chat tabs, repairing my client, clearing my game cache, and reinstalling the entire client, all with no luck. I’ve just tried logging into my alt account from the same computer and I am able to use team chat there, still not on my main.

I have that problem as well. Can’t see team chat and it is checked off in the chat box.

Same issue here, team chat was broken for two days. I repaired my client and only one other person (who had his chat broken for a week) could see/respond to my text. Still broken as I can’t see anyone else speak.

Day six, still no team chat. My server has forsaken me
