Hello guys,

I have a little issue when i try to send a letter with an attachment.

It’s my first time on this game since the beta and i’m playing with a friend.

But everytime i try to send her a letter with an attachment i just get log out to the character selection.

I don’t have the message " your letter has been sent successfully " when i hit the " Send " button and a few seconds later i’m automaticaly log out.

I tried to repair the client but it didn’t do anything and i don’t have any issue receiving letters or picking up attachment from them.

Here’s the message i got everytime i try to send a letter with attachment :

Network error

Please check your internet connection and retry (Code=1022:5:1:876:101)

I strongly recommend that you start a support ticket (follow the links at the top left of this page) — you are probably going to have to do some troubleshooting with ANet.

Just curious, are both accounts the paid for version/accounts or are you using Free to Play accounts.?

Some features require a certain amount of play-time before they can be accessed. Is this the first time you’ve actually played the game since launch?

Have you tried -repairing the client, and/or clearing the GW2 cache?

If the send button logs him out I don’t think acount validation is the issue. If either acount is F2P or (very)-new, you’d just get an error as such

I am having this exact issue. I bought the game in 2014 and registered it immediately. I did not login or play until recently. I have never been a free account. But I cannot send mail with attachments. I can receive mail. I can take attachments. I can send mail without attachments. But every time I try to send mail with any attachment, I am kicked to the Character Selection screen with Code: 1022:5:1:876:101. I submitted both a Bug Report and Support ticket. I hope this one is figured out soon!

Yes you have to actualy play the game for the lock to vanish, I belive it was 5 days of play .
