Hello! I’m trying to access my purchased items from the Black Lion trading post, but when I travel to the Altar Brook Trading post, the Black Lion Merchant there cannot be interacted with. He’s there, I can select him with LMB, but there is no option to talk to him. Attempting to interact just starts a conversation with one of the adjacent NPCs.

At this point, I cannot access any of my earned gold or purchased items from the Black Lion. Has anybody else run into this problem? I tried accessing the trading post center in Divinity’s Reach, but that’s locked to me without a pass.

I am currently running a lvl 12 Human Engineer, on Windows 7 64-bit.

there is another trading post in Divinity’s Reach at Ministers Waypoint, you can use it without needing a pass

You can use any Black Lion Trader Post NPC anywhere in the game, except the lowest level areas of the Starter zones. Lion’s Arch is popular, as well as (now) Heart of the Mists.

You can find the location of any NPC in-game by using the wiki, which can be accessed by typing /wiki (topic of interest) in chat.

Yay, the user friendly NPE attacks again… :/ Well, as others have mentioned you can try accessing Trading Post on any racial city, since Trading Post on low level areas has became rare or locked.

Easiest way to get bank and trading post is to just go to the PvP lobby.

Also it is absolutely at no charge.

I can’t recall if a lvl 12 already gets access to PvP (button on top is hidden at that stage I think), but yes, that’s a good suggestion.
