I can’t upgrade my Lidless Eye to Eye of Rodgort using the ingredients mentioned here:

My Lidless Eye remains greyed out and cannot be added to the other 3 items. I tried the -repair option mentioned on that page, but that does not help either.

EDIT: Cause seems to be that I altered the stats with a transmutation stone. Question: If I use a transmutation splitter, will it than work? Need to be absolutely sure before I buy one.

True, appearance and stats, but does that include the original item code for Lidless eye?

Only one way to find out!
Anyway … people who used the splitter on their transmuted legendaries got back the legendary and the exotic they used to change the stat. Should be the same here.

The only slightly odd thing with the splitter would be if you used a skin item which doesn’t apply here.
