I finally acquired 12 guild commendations again to purchase my next ascended accessory for my ele; but when I did I’m unable to use it- What is the deal? I’d hate to think I just wasted 12 commendations, which aren’t easy to get imo just to find out after the fact I cannot quip it.

You can’t use two of an item that are labeled Unique. Contact support and they can get it sorted out.

I did that a couple months ago as well, they gave me an accessory of equal value.
