As a player who is primarily an spvp / tourney player the missing of these chests is extremely disappointing. Can we get a rough ETA?

ETA would be nice… Havent got any tournament chest in 2-3 days. Very frustrating.

I would hope we’d get rewarded retroactively, this would be the equivalent of a PvE oriented person not getting rewarded for doing events, for 3-4 days. It would kill the game in their eyes.

If we don’t me and most of the guildmates will be moving on to something else. What they do with the chests now will show us how they will treat spvp when something bigger comes up.

According to state of the game update published yesterday they were supposed to provide some sort of update today… here’s to hoping they give us some sort of an update.

The problem is this is a game breaker for many people and it does not seem like anet are treating it as such. There are many players who all they want to do it tournaments and not being rewarded for doing so, is very annoying. What is more annoying is the fact that we have had near to no updates on the matter making me think this is going to take a lot longer than we all want.

Not a good way to start an e-sport.

I got first place in a random tourney and got nothing. I stopped playing until this is resolved

Here’s to hoping that our tournament wins are logged and all of the chests will be rewarded all at once when they fix the system!

My team lost about 18 1st place award and more of other its like 6000k glory, so what about now arenanet you cant refund us we spend more tem 24h of gaming for nothing whats the solution for us?

Lets talk about spvp, we need 3 things working for this. Public servers online,Tournaments online, and Rewards working.

U know there are tons of players and ONLY play spvp,why can’t our game work if we just need a few things?

Yup, I am thoroughly displeased with anets handling of their supposed grand e-sport.

Solution is anet doesn’t care. They pitched GW2 as an esport but they don’t care about supporting it. shrug

Totally agree, you cant start an e-sport by ignoring the PVP community, we have not had an update on the problem in ages and this problem is nearly a game braking one for many.

Hey guys, I recently beat a tournament with some guildies and after we left the area and went to the Heart of the Mist we didn’t get any chests for our victory. Not even a silver or bronze chest. So, we lost out on our gold chest and anything else we would’ve received for our win. Needless to say, we’re quite frusterated with not receiving anything and everyone has been saying that you guys don’t care and what not.

I doubt that is true, but if I could get an answer from a verified source that would be amazing. Thanks for reading, take care!

Tournament DB management and proper prise distrobution can be a nightmare in a game as big as this, as much as I would love to sit here and come to the defense of Anet explaining how difficult the job is, this seems like an error of over simplification, having tournament ranking host both unique character name and account name should suffice but if the problem, (which seems more likely to me) is actually in prize generation rather than making sure prizes are properly allocated, then this may be a problem that lingers, what Anet should do is tackle all of its small problems now so problems like the ones plaguing PVP can have the full dev team focus targeting them, rather than 1million little server bugs plus broken pvp.

I’d rather see PVP problems either be the first and only problem being solved or the last and most thoroughly solved.

It would be nice to know how to get chests you missed out on when the feature is working again. Is it logged or should we start taking screen shots on each win of any kind? I have no problem doing that if it ensures getting rewards after and would encourage us to keep running those tournaments.

Some communication on this issue and hopefully a roadmap/PvP posts on what we can expect in the near future would be a real help.

Will we see chest fixed by the end of the week or will it just be ignored completely. Will we have ELO, private servers in 6 weeks or 6 months.

Stuff like this has a huge impact on the longivity of the game for PvP players and it would just be nice to get some feedback and not be left completely in the dark.

This has been my favorite part of guild wars 2 so far but that being said no fricken rewards for tourny’s is pissing me off !!
