Earlier today, I was able to beat Canach with Condition Damage, I’m not sure if it was a bug or something that was quickly patched server side.

HOWEVER, Canach still takes damage from Retaliation. I am currently fighting him with 3 Illusionary Defenders to make it easier to get the Lair Light-Footed Achievement, due to the mines occasionally going berserk after I disarm them and the fact that I’m red-green color blind, which makes it really hard to tell what’s disarmed.

Yes, it’s a slower method to kill him, but it’s a safer method. Not sure if intended, though.

I was able to kill Canach with condition damage post-patch – I’m not sure if this is intended, because it’s not possible to inflict conditions to him unless he gets a condition from a mine first.
