Here is a picture, when i bought “Merchant Express” just to complete the achievement. then it didn’t work. what is the problem?

I Had the same problem with laurels too, i bought amulet with laurels and i didn’t get the hint done.

I too had this problem, in addition to the achievement chest hint. I’ve done both extensively, basically.
