Hello during my last play session on my main character I warped to Falias Thorp Waypoint in Caledon Forest and the game was taking forever to load so I assumed there was a problem, so I ALT + F4’d then restarted the game.

It’s still taking forever to load, so long that the game disconnects me before the load can even finish. What do? Can’t lose my main.

Massive server crash. Happened to everyone.

Try to load another toon first on a different map, then log out and retry the toon in question. Usually works for me.

It wasn’t the server-wide outages, as it was 2-3 hours before they happened (when I ported into Caledon for the first time) but the different character thing, while Caledon was still taking a very long time to load, eventually worked. Thank you.

The problem has been with this map ever since the TA aether path update and anet doesn’t seem to care. It takes forever to load. Sometimes it doesn’t, but most of the time it does. Avoid this map unless it’s really necessary. If you’re going to pug for TA and you’re transferring from another map, tell your team in advance.
