Guild Wars 2

This is odd, cause it’s only due to a specific player on my friend’s list. I can whisper and invite anyone else. When I attempt to invite to party, I get the notice “Check your internet connection and try again.” When I attempt a whisper, it tells me I cannot whisper someone not online and changes their status to offline.

During this entire time I have them on Skype and talking to them. They cannot see me online unless through guild roster.

You can try clearing your GW2 cache, and/or -repairing your client.
