I recently reskinned my Orr temple boots to Prowler boots and now I can’t dye them.

Before the re-skin I had them dyed entirely Abyss. After the reskin they changed to Abyss, Pottery and Midnight Purple (which I don’t even have) and now they’re stuck on that combination.

If I try and re-dye them it shows it changing in the dye window and on the Hero tab but not actually in-game and as soon as I close the Hero tab and open it up again it’s back to those 3 colours there as well.

I’ve submitted a bug report in game but I’m just wondering if this is a known bug and if anyone knows a work-around. It’s not a massive problem but I was planning to keep this skin for a while at least so it’d be annoying if I can’t have the colours I want.

Well, when I simply close the hero tab, my colors never save.

I fixed this by closing the dye mode and then my hero tab to save my colors.

Sorry I should have written that more clearly.

I open the Hero tab, open the dye window, dye the boots and it shows the colour changing, then close the dye window and it shows the change on the Hero tab as well. But then if I close the window it doesn’t change in game like it normally does and when I re-open the Hero tab they’re back to brown again.

Incidentally dying any other part of my armor works as normal.

Sadly, this isn’t just you. I just tried to help another person in-game just the other day with the exact same issue affecting his shoulders and helm. Our only conclusion for those items was to submit a bug report in game and maybe a ticket as well. This also happened on items he transmutted.

Alright so I also just had this problem, came here looking to see if there was a fix but while looking I came up with such a fix on my own and came back to share. You just have to use the dye remover, close the dye then hero windows then dye it the way you want. I hope this helps ^.^
