Guild Wars 2

Ok this started a couple of weeks ago, My messages can be seen by others through guild chat but I cannot see any messages or my own messages through guild chat.

This problem is from every guild i am in, so far I have try’d:

creating a new guild tab/chat tabs (yes everything is ticked)
going offline/invisible and back
leaving and rejoining the guilds
reinstalling the game(just in case)

also try’d every and any other thing I could find on the forums to no avail.

Try working directly with support (follow the links from the top left).

I see you said everything is ticked, but have you ticked the Guild in the drop-down menu accessed via the arrow in the chat tab that lists all Guilds you belong to?

yes I have, though I still should be able to see all chat form every guild anyhow.

No, you can only see chat from the ones you tick; even if you have ‘Guild Chat’ ticked.

As suggested above, you will likely have to have assistance from the CS Team. You can, however, try clearing your GW2 cache, or -repair the client, just in case. Instructions found via the ‘Support’ link above/below, and ‘Search’ (Repair or Cache/Troubleshoot TP).

no that was changed a while ago now, you see what people are saying in all of your guilds now its just in a darker yellow now. regardless of representing.

No, I’m not talking about representing. I’m talking about ticking each Guild you wish to see in chat in the drop-down chat menu, accessed via the arrow next to the Guild Chat option found in the chat box tabs on top (of the chat box). Perhaps, you’ve not ticked those.

ah ok just checked and all are ticked unfortunatly, Will try deleting cache now see if that helps.
