Two of my friends see zone completion on their map (M key) as an overlay in the upper left corner of the map screen. I do not get this. I’ve tried multiple resolutions. I have done a -repair on my initial install and also done a complete reinstall to new folder. Nothing has changed this behavior and I don’t get the zone completion percentage information. I also read online that if you hover over the zone name/lvl range text, it would also show zone completion information. This behavior does not appear to work either. We cannot find any other references to enable or disable this feature. Has anyone seen this or know how to enable/disable this feature?

When you bring up the map M key at the bottom left there is an Icon like an eye, click on that and make sure world completion is checked.

map completion information is level locked now, I believe it is available at level 15, if you are below that level, then that could explain why you aren’t seeing the overlay.

Yes, that was a (unneeded) change they did for NPE (New Players Experience) and as said above you won’t see it until you reach a certain level.
