Guild Wars 2

For the second time when trying to do this event, I was unable to target the giant jungle wurm. It was killed quickly, but there was enough time to test that neither clicking on the wurm nor tapping tab would allow me to target it. This time, I was doing it with some guildies (nec, ele, ranger), and at least two of them had the same issue. The necro was able to get credit by using wells, but also could not target the boss.

As a side note, the wurm goes down faster than the pre-event blight creatures, so I think he might need some attention.

The game currently seems to have severe issues with its targeting system. Especially when trying to left click and target large entities. I have the same issue when trying to select gates or siege engines in WvW, or in Fractals when selecting the Maw or its tentacles. Selecting the Shadow Behemoth or any of the dragons is a similar issue.

I also think the wurm goes down way to fast! They should change those events like wurm, maw, fire ele etc. if possible.. more people.. more difficult wurm??

The wurms target only appears after he fully emerges from the ground, but you can still hit and damage him easily with aoe before that time as soon as you see him appear, since he doesnt have much health and too many players attend the event he goes down way too fast. The solution isn’t to fix his targeting, its to make him scale much much more.

This event desperately needs someone’s attention – It’s almost as if a significant digit is missing – instead of 1,000,000 HP, he only has 100,000

again tonight failures abound at this event
