Now idk why this is happening.. for some reason today i cant create new characters at all and keep getting this error even tho my network. and everything is fine. as you can see im typing this up. on the forums so obviously its working perfectly. yes my firewall i turned it off still get this error aswell as my virus protection too. ive tried relogging. ive tried reinstalling aswell . so if i can get some help here would greatly appreciate it

i get this error aswell too constantly back and forth. idk whats wrong with gw2. its been giving me errors more and more even the black lion market at times give me errors.. aswell every single day.

I have the same problem. There’s a thread in Tech Support about it too. They’re looking into it, or so it seems.

Yes I am having this problem too, I was going to sell some things and make a new character – but oh no neither work any more, that’s just great.

I have said it before and will keep saying it they need to stop bringing out new content and fix the current content to the point where it doesn’t break and keep breaking whenever someone coughs on the servers. They have the staff they are all just busy on pointless new content and putting more things in the store.

I’m trying my best to enjoy this game after a year but the game keeps shoving me away from it with stuff like this.

In their defense, I’ve never had this trouble before.

That said, I wish they’d get it fixed soon. I’m worried I’ll end up losing the character I created.

ah i see alright then yea i hope they do fix it :S really putting a damper on my pvp achievements im trying to unlock with all the classes lol

Same problem here, I am trying to decide what race I want my future guardian to be and its hard when you can’t even create anything to try it out XD

The last acknowledgement of this problem was a day ago. Can we please at least get an ETA on when this is going to be fixed?

can’t create characters either, the same error code.

same here, very frustrating.

When creating a character im getting this error code 1010:6:6:419:101, while the game kindly asks me to check my internet connection i’m talking with my friend on teamspeak about this issue.

now the error only pops up after i try to chreate a character and the error code 42:22:2:224:101 has popped up.

i can log in normally, but have an open character slot which i would like to fill.
i have tried:
all race/ profession combinations,
resetting my router,
a different router,
re-installing guildwars 2,
yelling obscenities very loudly.

none of this seemed to work, very frustrating since making new characters is kindof my thing ever since beta.
the problem started 28th for me and is persistent to this moment.

yup, same here. Couldn’t make a new character

so well had a new error code… Says i exceeded the new character limit ?! I wasn’t aware there was one ?

The only time i actually really really wanna log in and play a new guardian this happens.

and it’s strange but when we can’t make new characters all we want to do is create them.. ^.^

So for me it was fixed or it fixed itself, i made myself a new char and the tp is working again too

It worked, this time.. I’m not sure if it just worked itself out or if they got it for sure, but I will says thanks to them regardless.
