Guild Wars 2

i bought gems and i wanted to convert them into gold but it says

“This feature is not available. Please try again later.”

is this a bug or is it because my account is too new?(just bought gw2 yesterday)

It may be a function of new accounts. There are a few in-game to usurp gold-sellers, etc. I haven’t seen other threads on this, so I really don’t know. You could wait, or submit a request to Customer Support.

You don’t really need money when starting out the game. Things are cheap until you get to the endgame, and you can get by fine with equipment 5 levels behind when leveling.

Just play, enjoy yourself and you’ll probably find other uses for those gems when you get more exprience!

I’ve noticed this too. I tried to convert some gems to gold tonight and couldn’t even get the screen to work.

I converted gold to 1000 gems just a few hours ago, so it’s not a global problem. It was working just fine.
