Guild Wars 2

It says to defeat the pursuing bandits and escort the prisoners to safety, but there are no bandits around, and I’ve made sure that none were stuck anywhere or glitched into the walls. I was pressing ` (auto targets enemies) while running around and there’s nothing to be found. Killed everything I saw, went everywhere around the area and still nothing. The prisoners are just dumb stuck weeping in fear. This is making it impossible for me to finish my story quest at the moment.
