I’ve run through this part of the story quest line 3 times on 3 of my characters. The first time I followed a guide verbatim for the Sneaky Sleuth achievement, but didn’t earn it. Second time I went for the Super Sleuth achievement using a text guide on the same site (I think it may have been dulfy.net for both of these). Finally on a 3rd character I ran through it again following a video guide verbatim (since I wanted to see proof at the end that the guy got the achievement, which he did) and again I got nothing. I’m convinced that it is simply impossible for me to earn any of these achievements. How can this be fixed?

You have to have completed the story on a character before you can attempt the achievements.

Do you mean the full Personal Story, all the way through to completing Arah?

No, no. I mean you have to complete the Living Story chapter connected to the achievements you’re trying to do. Each character has to have done that in order for that character to attempt achievements.

I see now. I’ve never noticed the text for the chapter: “Complete this episode to unlock rewards and achievements.”
It is kind of frustrating, but thank you. At least now I know.
