Whats going on with Captain Wiley in Gendarren Fields? I need to defeat him to get my last part of The Hunter precurssor tier 2 and have been playing hours at a time waiting for him 2 spawn and not single time has this happen for me in 2 weeks.

Any help on what instances work?

Where are you waiting for him?

According to the wiki, you should wait for him at Wiley’s Cove:
[&BHsAAAA=]

Wiley can be found as an elite NPC in Wiley’s Cove by default; when his event is active, he swims to a sunken ship in the northern part of Lake Gendarr and becomes a champion.

Killing either version of Wiley counts towards the The Predator III: The Hunter collection. However, spawn times are seemingly long, so it is recommended to wait in the cove for him to spawn.

Yeah this is where i am waiting no spawns what so ever

Did you try seeing if his event is stuck in the lake?

Either way, use the in-game /bug reporting tool, too — that gives ANet additional information about the map/instance that will help in troubleshooting.

If the event is bugged, your best bet is to leave a character there and swap to it at the following times (or as close as your schedule allows):

• After an update (next scheduled one: 10 January, but keep an eye out for bug fixes)
• Whenever Gendarran fields is the location of the 4-event daily.
• Saturdays
• Reset

These are the times when it’s most likely for a new map to spawn for various reasons.
