Guild Wars 2

There’s a bug with the particle effects on this weapon. They just disappear whenever the weapon is drawn and will not appear again unless it is unequipped and replaced with another, then equipped again.
I don’t know if this happens on other classes too, but at least on Mesmer it does.

Happens on my elementalist as well. Still here after the 5/26 patch. This affects the trident Steamfire that uses the same skin as well. The particle effects also reappear when you log out and back in. But as soon as you equip the weapon, they’re gone.

Just got this for my elementalist and the bug is still there…disappointing. The particle effect works the first time you log-on and it’s stowed, but the second it’s wielded the effect disappears. Once it’s stowed again the effect stays disappeared and will not re-appear until you either unequip and re-equip the staff stowed, or re-log.
