So I was randomly running around EOTM, and I came across this necros who cast Spectral Walk they then proceeded to jump off the edge of the map, while they where falling they cast, Spectral Grasp to pull me off the edge, they then cancelled Spectral Walk to return to the location,

At first I thought I was lag and the server had caught up and that’s what killed me, but it happened to several people whom I was running around with also.

Afaik, you could not continue to cast skills after falling/jumping off the edge of the map in EotM.

If I have missed an update that has changed this, feel free to ignore this,

they used spectral grasp just before they jumped off, but spectral walk can be activated in air, one purpose of it is to almost nullify fall damage, which is quite fun i must say ^^

Yes but if they activated Walk after jumping off they would die aswell, as in EotM you fall to your death not to the level below, so they where

Casting, Spectral Walk>jumping off map>casting Grasp>pulling people to them>Activating Walk to return to location.

Like I said AFAIK you cannot activate skills as you are falling in EotM, else mesmers could easily use there pull skill while falling which they cannot.

What if they would have cast Spectral Walk, then Grasp just an instant before going off the clip? Is that possible? (Just thinking out loud)
