So when they announced that MF gear would be removed they also said you can choose a new prefix from a drop down, now crafted gear was supposed to have all craftable options available so how come we cannot choose celestial? and why does it soul bind when choosing the stat prefix? I’m stuck with armor on my guardian when it was intended for my Ele . was this intended?

The soulbinding is in big red letters on the stat selection screen. Hard to miss. It’s in your screenshot:

“Warning: Selecting stats will make this item soulbound and is permanent.”

Regarding celestial; I would assume since celestial is a time-gated stat combination, they didn’t want people crafting exotic mf sets prior to the patch and instantly getting celestial from them without going through the process of actually making the charged quartz.
