I would advice you to be careful with thread bumps, too much bumps isn’t allowed. Also, it’s not reasonable to expect for a reply within a few hours, there have been issues that took days until someone replied. Give it some time until someone with the same issue show up.
Now, about myself, I’m not sure if I have experienced this issue. I haven’t noticed any anomaly but also I had no idea how many points I was supposed to get. I might come back and report here after I check it more closely.

I get that, but it’s a bit frustrating not being able to utilise the new masteries because I didn’t get the correct allocation of points (at launch).
There others with the same issue. It’d just be good to know what Anet are doing about it and when we can expect a fix.
On top of this, now I’m not getting map completion (for new maps) rewards, on one of my toons, because I have 100% world (or rather, did).
Be good to know when a fix is likely. I should have started with around 30 but only started with 16.
Most of the Tyria masteries I have left require a stupid amount of time or gold to obtain, so it’d be great if I could have all the ones I should have gotten.
Yeah .. i started with 22 i think, and also don’t see much that i really could finish
in any way without enormous time investment or massive amount of gold.
Oh yeah .. there are fractals of course, but i hate beeing forced to play fractals
now for every aspect of the game .. want mastery ? Go fractals. Want precursor ?

don’t go fractals.
Why not remove old Tyria complete and bring us from the login screen directly
into the fractals ?
EVERY MMO is awesome until it is released then its unfinished. A month after release it just sucks.

Yeah I feel your pain, I just wanted to advice so this thread won’t get trashed or something. About not getting rewards, it’s a known issue although no official responses so far either: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Got-100-map-completion-on-VB-no-reward (see? this one also didn’t get responses fast :S).

What gives Tyria mastery points, outside of achievements? Do you get a point for completion of the main story (after killing Zhaitan) and also for 100% map completion?
You are supposed to get a mastery point for completing each level 10 personal story, (1 out of 3) racial stories. Since HoT launch I have completed the human and asura PS at level 10, but did not get the mastery point, even though the achievement panel states that I should have.
Finding info about this is difficult, very few post, and no official response that I know about.
Right now I am stuck on 4 mastery points and need 1 more to activate the level 4 pact commander line but I need 5 for that. Pretty soon the xp bar will be full and I’ll be wasting xp.

There are a few Dev posts about the Map Rewards issue. I think they were fixing it yesterday, or maybe it was today. Just look for the threads with red splashes.
Nothing about the Mastery Points in Core Tyria, though. I don’t know if the Wiki is correct. I have characters/accounts with no PS done, and my Achievement Panel doesn’t show a Mastery Point can be earned for each story step achievement; only certain ones. So….not sure what’s the real count possible.

Yeah but not in that thread I mentioned here. The replies I have seen was to another map completion issue, that’s the one you mention. The issue with missing rewards hasn’t got a reply in any threads, only on Reddit as far I have seen.
Anyway, back on topic. I have verified my achievement panel and I don’t see any anomaly. The total acquired from achievements was 27 and currently I have 29. But I remember getting it from other sources pos-HoT then I don’t know. Now I see you had issues with PS not rewarding it, I can’t say about it as I haven’t done PS since HoT came out.

I’m having the same problem (should have 24 based on what the UI shows but only have 19) and am getting a little fed up that there is no Dev response to it AT ALL.
I’ve put in a support ticket, reported the bug and posted about this on other similar threads, but never heard anything back (not even a ‘we received you email’ note for the ticket).
I literally cannot progress in the Tyria Masteries any further (I have both Legendary II and Fractal II filled up), because none of the achievements that are supposed to give Masteries are doing so. I have none left to spend.
The only ones I’ve received have been those I did before the expac came out.
I made a ticket on the web site regarding the missing Tyria mastery points from story quests. Got a reply via email. Said they’re aware of the situation although they cannot address every issue they receive on the forums. Now just hope this problem is serious enough for them prioritize it. The more people report it to them, they quicker they might fix it.
I just completed “Waking form the Nightmare”. Prior to completing this quest, it did not have a Mastery Point associated with it (along with the other racial quest achievements I have not yet completed).
I did not get a Mastery point for this achievement, however, after completing the quest, the Hero panel says I should have. I’m assuming the issue is with these achievements.

With all Achievements I have open it is IMPOSSIBLE to master all paths in Tyria.
I got 26 Tyria points at launch, the “Hero” tab alone should give 25 according to wiki.
Opened a ticket too but no answer since 4 days….
it´s just depressing to pay for an add-on and then you´re not able to benefit from all parts of it.
Hi there, am having the same problem also. Any news of a fix or helps at the next patch on Tuesday?
Latest patch has not fixed this. Disappointing…
