The chak weapons you get from the HoT story are Rare instead of exotic like the other stuff you get, is this a bug or intentional?

Intentional. All Chak weapons (including the ones you have to get from the Nuhoch vendors and from Chak Gerent) are Rare.

Oh the vendor ones are rare to? I never noticed, thanks. Seems rather odd though.
